From Madeira: On Europe's highest cliff - and I cuddled an eagle!

Yesterday we went to Pico Aeeiro. So foggy that we could see nothing else but
nothing. Windy and cold. We bought some great souvenirs.

Then, down the hills, to sunny Funchal and from 5.5 degrees to 21.5. Within a
half hour or so. Actually. Almost unbelievable!

We drove to Cabo Girão. More wow!

The others walked on the glass floor there. I almost ran away from there; no
way!

About 600 metres down to the sea...

A couple of random pics. Taken from the car back window, though.

Then: Forum shopping senter. Outside (west) of Funchal.

Great, and open - but crowdy and full of children, playing and screaming
and sharing their wishes with Santa Claus. And a Christmas Train.
Toot-toot-tweet! In middle of November. Almost unbelievable...

Even more unbelieveable, the next that happened:
We met a guy with an North American eagle on his right hand.

And I was allowed to touch it, cuddle the wonderful, big bird!
Oh, what a feeling! I'll never forget.

My daughter cought pics of the great bird. Maybe to share, later?

I only have three pictures from the mall:

The huge palm tree was inside of the shopping center :o

Then, we went to Dolce Vita, the second (and last) mall in Funchal. Even more open and great.

Undescribable tired, all of us. We looked for an USB transfer thing, that they didn't have.

Back home! Late! A little meal! And, finally: Coffee!
